Hello, I am Sophie, a Personal Trainer based in East and Central London. I work from Leytonstone, Wanstead and The City, covering the surrounding areas.
I've always been active, and have explored many forms of training throughout the years. My journey has included competitive netball, contemporary dance and middle-distance running, later discovering strength training. I've always trained for both mind and body and understand that exercising, training or simply moving your body can be an outlet for many people and can provide so much more than just physical benefits.
My theory is that to feel great, you have to get to know your body, challenge it and keep things interesting - ultimately paving the way to a healthy, agile and injury free life.
My role is to empower you, help you learn, train safely and to equip you with knowledge that you can use beyond our sessions. I genuinely hope I can make YOU love exercise and integrate it into your schedule, not just for 6 weeks or 6 months, but as part of a healthy and happy life.
Whether your goal is to get started, get fitter, faster, stronger, move more efficiently or to increase your confidence both in and outside of the gym or in classes, I am here to help you.
The boring bit: I am First Aid and AED Qualified and insured by REPs.
"I really enjoy Sophie's class. I've always been a bit intimidated by the gym and working out but Sophie makes it fun and less daunting. There's always a mix of things to do so it doesn't get boring and some things even feel more like games than workouts (although you feel it afterwards!).
The sessions don't seem that hard but when I look back to the first week I can see I'm doing way more now than I was then. Really great way to ease into fitness with someone who obviously knows their stuff."
